Fondant and Gum Paste

It this point in my career, I do not have a vast amount of experience in fondant. I am confident in my ability to do simple designs with it, but until I begin my Advanced Patisserie class in January, I will not commit to working with it in great detail. I will be gaining a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in the subject during that class, however, so if you need something for an event in April or later, let me know!

When I was in Intro to Pastry, I made fondant and decorated this cake.

We also learned how to create roses out of gum paste. I am confident in my proficiency of this skill.

Adult Novelty Cakes

I'm sorry to those this post offends, but there is a large market for adult novelty cakes out there. These cakes are perfect for bachelorette, bachelor, or even just fun adult themed parties in the Jacksonville, FL area.

This cake is a devil's food cake with buttercream icing. The nipples are melted marshmallows which I molded to be to correct shape. The recipient enjoyed the cake immensely.

I also created a corset cake recently. This is also covered in buttercream icing. I then painted the webs on and used piping to make the spiders 3D and to make the laces and the details on the brassiere.

My first novelty cake was a penis cake. I thought the clear gel with a tinge of white created a realistic looking effect.
